Thank you. Thank you so much. I've been trying to figure out what to write. I had imagined that when I reached my goal of $1,500, I would do a dance or jump for joy. But honestly, I've been so tired I haven't had a chance to even write. If you check the comments below, note the "In lieu of a cease and desist letter, I'm making a donation..." With the few people I'm closer to, I can be that persistent. That kind of persistence takes energy. I did get to stop by the San Juan basilica this weekend and light a candle. (It's rude not to thank everyone who's helping me do this.) Here's the short version of what I want to say. We're not done. I picked the absolute lowest goal possible, because I was afraid I wouldn't make it. Thank you for proving me wrong. But me reaching my initial goal doesn't mean blood cancer is cured. The next $5 could go toward a cancer patient's copay. It could help fund a research project. So I raised my personal goal to another $100. And I reached that goal. And now I'm going to raise it another $150. So, for those of you who haven't donated, be warned. I'm resting up. You'll hear from me soon.
